I like going different locations and taking some pictures to capture interesting stuff.

Day 2 of shooting "Rewind"

Today we started with some group shots. When the group go into room, strange things happen. They hear noises, doors slam and more.

It is fallowed by Beckah's death scene. We used mirror to make the scene more scary . Beckah snorts some type of drugs, she realises her nose is bleeding, she trips after she goes into a room looks at the mirror spews blood on mirror she has seizure and she dies.

After Beckah's death scene we filmed Matt's scene of him dying.

To finish with we filmed Ayse's (my) death scene. I hanged up and someone puts me in the lift. Will calls the lift. As lift comes down he sees my dead body in the lift.

The Short Film (Team) Project

We are required to produce a short film, (5-8 mins), based on one title combined with one genre from the lists. So we picked the title 'Rewind' and the genre is horror.

At the moment we have a working shot by shot storyboard with a script underway.

A complex plot line with some twists though out.

The Plot

Starts of with a documentary footage telling the back story of how five youngsters go to the asylum which is believed to be haunted as everyone who enters begin to crazy. The characters are Matt who is dating Beckah but she cheated on him with Chris. Matt also bullies Will who is the quiet kid who is seen as a outsider of the group. The final character is Kathryn the survivor who is the most sensible of the group. All of the characters begin to go gradually insane with Matt being affected the most. The first character to die Beckah fallowed by Chris after it all is revealed they have been seeing each other. Then Will dies leaving everyone believing Matt is the killer, he then kills himself, Kathryn goes to the police with the camera with footage of the night before. Eventually the truth comes out and how everything happened and why.

Shot ideas


After Matt steals the camera, he films himself going crazy then leaves the camera on the floor. Next shot is of someone's feet walking towards the camera, they pick it up and pan around to reveal the writing on the wall.

Filming a door slightly a jar when a bloodshot eye appears in the gap.

First day of shooting


Today we started with interrogation scene. We filmed Kathryn and Chris being interviewed by Detective Juliet.

Also Chris was interviewed.

The next scene we filmed was where Matt goes crazy. We picked the first aid room.

The third scene we filmed is Will and Ayse is being chased. Ryan was on the camera, because we didn't have steadicam in the uni Ryan sat on the wheelchair and Matt pushed him.

Photography assignment

We have been given to produce photographic images of six different assignments.

1. Shooting for stock

For this assignment I have chosen photo 6 different cupcakes.




2. Joiner

For this assignment I have chosen to do my joiner gate of Regent Street.

3. Typologies

For this assignment I have picked various colourful old and used South African stamps.

4. Street Photography

I have been different places. So I decided to my street photography all around these places such as; high streets, beaches, parks, etc.

5. Still life

After my researches on still life photography, I wanted to go for fashion still life photography. I got inspired from various photos such as 'Chanel's' still life photo with a flower. I made my decision on fashion. And there is what I produced.

6. Body Landscapes

Still doing some research on body landscapes photography.

Ideas for the Volvic water presentation

There are two adventurous guys would want to climb up to Volcanic Mountain. They are all equipped and ready to climb. They throw their ropes and start climbing. While they are climbing they feel that they are shaking and it’s getting warmer. They here big noise and realize that the volcanic mountain starts erupting. The ashes and flames start coming towards them. One of them would land by the guys.  Suddenly this flame turns into a beautiful lady with gorgeous red hair and offers them the Volvic water to fight fire with the fire water. They drink it. And the camera zooms out from the bottle.

We have been given this assignment to produce a sequence to music. My group and I had lots of different ideas for this music video about picking the song, thinking about the story line, camera shot etc. We finally decided on the song called 'Titanium' by David Guetta. We picked this song because the story line we have decided on gone well with the song. And we would like song and story line to match.

The storyline

 

In our storyline we see a couple arguing next to their children. The husband commits domestic abuse and domestic violence to his wife and to his children. The wife remembers her old memories. She gets the flashbacks of her husband. She gets sick and tired of all this drama and she shows and shouts at him saying she is titanium and she leaves.
